Dear Families

The end of this very unusual school year is fast approaching.

Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to Ms. Halloran and Mrs. Johnson and wish them good luck at their new schools next year.

We wish our grade 6 students continued success as they start the next phase of their education at MRHS. 

Dates to remember

●  June 25 last day for milk,
●  June 28 last full day of classes,
●  June 29 Assessment and Evaluation Day-no school,
● June 30 last day for student’s (dismissal time TBA)

Report cards will be emailed June 30. Supply list for next year will be posted on the website.

Late registration for new students is August 25. If you know of any new families who have moved into the area, please encourage them to call the school as soon as possible.

With next week being the last full week of school the staff has proposed a theme week.
Monday - Fancy day,
Tuesday - Sports day,
Wednesday - Beach day - Slip n’ Slide a previous field day activity where students individually slide on a water soap soaked plastic mat, students have the option to opt out if they wish, bring sunscreen, shorts/swimsuit, a t-shirt is required as a cover up for all students, a change of clothes and a towel,  Rain day Thursday,
Thursday - Backwards day,
Friday - Crazy hat and hair day.

Thank you for your flexibility, cooperation and support. We couldn't have had a successful year without it. On behalf of the staff and myself we want to wish you a safe and happy summer. We hope you are able to connect with family and friends who you may have not seen for some time. We look forward to seeing you back at school September 7.
